Solid Waste Disposal and Sanitation Awareness

2 Reasons To Use Dumpsters If You Are A Landlord

If you are a landlord, you may be responsible for making sure that all the garbage that your tenants generate gets disposed of. While they are responsible for getting the rubbish out of their residences and to the street, you may be the one who has to pay for it to be removed from there. Even if you don't have to pay for general waste removal, your tenants may generate more waste than your municipal water removal company will remove. That means that you are going to need to come up with a way to make sure that the waste gets removed. One way to do that is to get a dumpster to put on your property. There are several reasons why this may be the best choice for you and your circumstances.

Scheduled Pickups

One reason is that you can schedule pickups to come as often as you think that the dumpster will get filled up. If you have a lot of tenants in your property, then you may arrange to have the dumpster emptied out twice a week. Because you are contracting with a private company instead of using a municipal service, you can adjust the schedule as you want it, as long as the company has the space for you to adjust it. It may take a little bit of time to adjust the schedule so that it works well for you and your tenants' needs, but once you find one that works well, you should be fine.

Sizing

Another reason is that dumpsters come in a variety of sizes and styles. That means that you can find a dumpster that is going to be the right size for your tenants and your property. That can actually be two different sizes. For example, you may need to have a smaller dumpster than you would like to have because you have a small area on the property for the dumpster to go on. The company that you are renting the dumpster from should be able to tell you what the sizes and styles are and help you figure out what is going to work best for you.

If you are a landlord, you want to make sure that your property looks good. And part of that is making sure that the garbage generated by your tenants is removed. Dumpsters can help you take care of that problem.

About Me

Solid Waste Disposal and Sanitation Awareness

Many people don't like to think about solid waste disposal, but we think it's important for people to know about sanitation. We actually find it interesting so that's why we learned everything we could about this topic. We toured solid waste disposal plants and talked with facility managers about this type of sanitation process. We thought the best way to share our knowledge was through writing a blog. When you read these posts, you'll learn the steps of solid waste disposal and the importance of these facilities. Additional information we're sharing includes articles about landfills, incineration and recycling of solid waste. It's our hope that after reading our blog you'll have a better awareness of solid waste disposal.
